What Database Can't Post

I’m writing a mutual fund tracker / advisor for some friends. I need a small database with 3 or 4 relational tables, nothing super fancy.

What is the best database to use so I don’t force everyone to load the database I am using, ie they already have Oracle on their system, but I used MySQL so they have to load that one also to run my software!

Is there some kind of internal database interface that comes with standard Perl, Strawberry Perl on windows 7 64 bit in my case?

If there is no “standard” I plan to load and use MySQL. Any suggestions on a better , easy, relational database?

I'd recommend using mysql, but if you want a perl core db interface, then use the DB_File module.
