Need Link Manager like Perl Guide Can't Post

Ok, here's the weird question of the day, I suppose...

We're adding a link manager to our site that needs to have user-maintainable (w/username and password) links, search by category or keyword/name search, and ideally the ability to add some extra field for each entry... the closest thing we've found is what Perl Archive does.. is this based on an existing program that was customized? was it totally custom? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I've looked at Links 2.0 by Gossamer Threaders - looks close, but the user-maintainable part looks a bit tricky. Out of the box, it doesn't appear to support passwords, etc.

Thanks!

It looks to me that they are using Links Manager V.2 or MSQL from Gossamer-Threads. We use it on our site and it can be customized to what you want it to do.

Hope this helps,
Joe
