How to connect to oracle data base Can't Post

I'm new to connect to Oracle data base through Perl Script . Please let me know how to connect oracle database through Perl and how select table ? And how to print selected table print to file.. please tell me through example

Hi,

you have to use the DBI module (http://search.cpan.org/~timb/DBI-1.631/DBI.pm) and the DBD::Oracle module (http://search.cpan.org/~pythian/DBD-Oracle-1.70/lib/DBD/Oracle.pm). The two links above containt a lot of documentation on how to use them.

The first module is a core module and is thus most probably already installed with your Perl distribution, but the second one might have to be installed.

while installing DBD::Oracle module I'm getting error
