Basic code to fuck' around with? Can't Post

Hello,

I started learning Perl a few hours ago after I was inspired by one of my friends. Right now > I'm trying to get into the basics because this is actually my first coding language too. I have 7 or so hours per day for the next few months to dedicate to this and I'm really serious.

Can anyone give me some code which would be good to mess' around with?

Cheers.

Please use more professional language in this forum.

It probably is not a good idea to try to learn programming by example. Buy a book for beginners and work through it. I would recommend the O'Reilly book "Learning Perl". Start at the beginning and do all the exercises. After you have acquired basic programming and perl skills, I encourage you to ask your question again, but then you will have a better idea of what to ask for.
Good Luck,
Bill
