     Enter a password with perl

Hi guys,

I'm trying to get the sourcecode of a webpage via getprint('...'). While this works well with most pages it doesn't work with the page that I want to access...
cmd says Error 401 Authorization Required.
Obviously I have to enter the password for the page and I know the passwort but I simply don't know how to enter that password through perl or cmd.

If I open the website in my browser it opens a smaller window in the browser where I have to enter the password.
Does anyone know how to get a perl programm to enter username and password in that window?

Thanks for your help!

Hi,
you are posting the same question in two different sections of this forum. Please don't do that, this leads to duplication of work.

I'll lock this thread and ask people who want to answer to go to the other thread: http://perlguru.com/gforum.cgi?post=80613;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread
