     Perl Package  

eg: Below is a part of a package...what is $::test in the below code?

package main;

$::test->script_keywords( "ARTS_1 Functional" );
$::test->startscript();
$::test->synopsis("ft650318_padx_counters.");
$::test->run_script(ON_ERROR_CONTINUE=>1);
$::test->test_plan_location("https://erilink.ericsson.se/eridoc/erl/objectId/09004cff8912f37f?docno=8/15241-CRA1191867/1Uen&action=current&format=msw8");
$::test->print_results();

$:: refers to the identifiers defined in the main package.
