One navigation to all the web page in a website using perl Can't Post

Good day everyone, i don't know if the title of my post is correct. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

I am new to perl programming, a friend told me that perl script can be use to have a single navigation for all websites. I have looked for codes but it was unsuccessful.

Can anybody give me idea, script, codes or the basic how to do it? I really need to learn new things in web development.

Thank you so much and God bless.

Hi,

What you are describing is called a sitemap.

If you are new to Perl, I suggest you learn a little before attempting to automate the construction of a sitemap. I can't recommend O'Reilly Learning Perl enough.

Personally I use WWW::Sitemap. If you want to roll your own, I suggest looking at WWW::Mechanize and its links method. Otherwise LWP::UserAgent, but you'll have to parse the page yourself with a html parser such as HTML::LinkExtractor.
