Perl executable Can't Post

(question also posted in perl monks due to urgency)

Hi,

I'm having a problem compiling a perl script to run in my windows 7 32 bits environment. It compiles with Perl Dev Kit from active state, but when I run it (in the command line of dos) it just freezes - no anwer. The compilation gives no error. Does anyone knows why this might be happening?

Cheers.

Re: [jkepler] Perl executable [In reply to] Can't Post

Does you program execute as expected with the perl interpreter? Are you sure that it is not waiting for input?
Good Luck,
Bill

Hi Bill,

Yes, the script runs well with perl. Actually, I've tryed the "hello" script, and it also hangs...

Something's not right here... :/

Sorry, I do not have any more ideas. I was hopping that it was one of the obvious things.
Good Luck,
Bill
