running a cgi script from a browser Can't Post

Hello,
I've been stuck on this for weeks. Does anyone know anything about how to set environments in a cgi script so that it would make a system call when run from a browser. My problem is that the script runs fine when run from the command line, but it doesn't make the system call when run from the browser. Please help.

I know that, but that doesn't help, I'm still having the same difficulties. Do you know how to specify classpaths for java to run from the command line?
