choosing directories? Can't Post

with the script that im making, (its for a gaming site) and i want to be able to choose whether its for playstation, ps2, dreamcast etc, and it will place the files in the dreamcast folder, ps2 folder
etc, can someone please help me?

would this be right??
although there IS something wrong with it that i cant seem to finger out

sub createFile2 {
OPEN (FILE2 "$console/$gameName.txt") or die $!;
print FILE2 "$description:$codes";
close FILE2;
}

duh me, I see your problem now

open(FILE2, "$console/$gameName.txt") or die $!;
print FILE2 "$description:$codes";
close FILE2;

I tell you all the time ultimate, you need to work on your syntax alot, you shouldn't be making these errors, slow down when you type
