can't install modules Can't Post

Hello,

I seem not to be able to let cpan connect to the internet.
If i browse to the first URL that is attempted to connect to, that works.
IE is configured with a pac file, and will define a proxy server to be used. I have no clue where to configure the internet settings for cpan.

Wkr,
Luk

Code
C:\data\perl>cpan CPAN::Mini
CPAN: CPAN::SQLite loaded ok (v0.204)
CPAN: LWP::UserAgent loaded ok (v6.06)
CPAN: Time::HiRes loaded ok (v1.9726)
Fetching with LWP:
http://cpan.strawberryperl.com/authors/01mailrc.txt.gz
LWP failed with code[500] message[Can't connect to cpan.strawberryperl.com:80]
Warning: no success downloading 'C:\data\STRAWB~1\cpan\sources\authors\01mailrc.
txt.gz.tmp10048'. Giving up on it.
Fetching with LWP:
http://www.cpan.org/authors/01mailrc.txt.gz
LWP failed with code[500] message[Can't connect to www.cpan.org:80]
Warning: no success downloading 'C:\data\STRAWB~1\cpan\sources\authors\01mailrc.
txt.gz.tmp10048'. Giving up on it.
Fetching with LWP:
http://www.cpan.org/authors/01mailrc.txt.gz
LWP failed with code[500] message[Can't connect to www.cpan.org:80]
Warning: no success downloading 'C:\data\STRAWB~1\cpan\sources\authors\01mailrc.
txt.gz.tmp10048'. Giving up on it.
Warning: no success downloading 'C:\data\STRAWB~1\cpan\sources\authors\01mailrc.
txt.gz.tmp10048'. Giving up on it.

As a last resort we now switch to the external ftp command 'C:\Windows\system32\
ftp.exe'
to get 'C:\data\STRAWB~1\cpan\sources\authors\01mailrc.txt.gz.tmp10048'.

Doing so often leads to problems that are hard to diagnose.

If you're the victim of such problems, please consider unsetting the
ftp config variable with

o conf ftp ""
o conf commit

Fetching with LWP:
http://cpan.strawberryperl.com/authors/01mailrc.txt.gz

....Looks like previous is repeated a 2nd time, didn't copy paste...

Code
CPAN: YAML::XS loaded ok (v0.52)
Please check, if the URLs I found in your configuration file
(http://cpan.strawberryperl.com/, http://www.cpan.org/,
http://www.cpan.org/) are valid. The urllist can be edited. E.g. with 'o
conf urllist push ftp://myurl/'

Could not fetch authors/01mailrc.txt.gz

When at the cpan shell, run the o conf command to see all of the config settings. There are both ftp and http proxy settings available to be configured.

Guess i'll try to download the latest version again and try again. I've updated the proxy settings, tried with o conf servername:port and o conf a.b.c.d:port followed with o conf commit, but both gave below error. Also tried to define a proxy_user and proxy_pass, still the same error.

Code
C:\data\perl>cpan CPAN::Mini
CPAN: CPAN::SQLite loaded ok (v0.204)
CPAN: LWP::UserAgent loaded ok (v6.06)
CPAN: Time::HiRes loaded ok (v1.9726)
Fetching with LWP:
http://cpan.strawberryperl.com/authors/01mailrc.txt.gz
Undefined subroutine &CPAN::HTTP::Credentials::_clear_non_proxy_credentials call
ed at C:\data\Strawberry\perl\lib/CPAN/HTTP/Credentials.pm line 10.
