Perl DBI - How to get PID of Database Session Can't Post

Is there any function in DBI to return the Database Process Id (PID) for a query executed through Perl Program?

Detail: Suppose I have a Perl program that connects to Oracle/Sybase/MySQL and executes a query. As soon as query is submitted to database, I want to have the Database Process ID (Not Unix Process ID for Perl program).

If not, then please advise on any other best approach to get database PID. I don't want to use fork/thread or Perl modules like Proc::Parallel due to some reasons.

Thanks in advance!
