Need your help to copy some CPAN modules to Web server Can't Post

Hello,
Could you please share the steps, how can I copy CPAN modules (Some of them) to web server?

Thanks in advance

How many times you told me that I can easily copy Perl Packages to my server. Now, when I asked for help, no help? I don't have experience in it. I cannot find clear instruction how to copy module to apache web server. No one can help me?

The most obvious means is to run the cpan command from the shell. But you'll have to figure out what your shell is and how too run it to start with.

Laurent,

I was able to find and copy to my computer
package File::Find::Rule;

Should I simply copy it to web?

Sorry, I wish I could help you, but I just really don't know how you can do anything on a Unix-like server where you don't have a shell to do things. (And, frankly, I find it hard to believe you don't have a shell or something equivalent, it's like pretending to ride a bicycle without pedals.)

Please explain how you connect to this server, how do you copy a file, how you do anything on it, so that I can get an idea of your setup.

The apache we server needs to run on an OS (UNIX, LINUX, MAC, or Windows).

What OS is the server?

If you only have web access to the server, then you probably have access to cpanel (or something similar) which should give you some type of interface to install perl modules.

Without knowing your environment and the type of access you have to the server, there's nothing we can do to help. Please provide us with this info so that we can help.

Apache is running on WINDOWS. But I already found the site, where I can just copy paste modules to our /lib/web folder.

Thanks a lot

It seem to me you spoke about a Unix server in is other post:
http://perlguru.com/gforum.cgi?post=83890;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread
Or maybe it was another server.

But it's very difficult i general nto help you when you provide insufficient information.

I agree with Laurent, you are very poor at providing clear information which makes it very difficult to help you.

You know almost nothing about perl but keep posting your beginner level questions in the Intermediate topic area.
