Perl script to count Math equations in PDF Can't Post

Hi,

I need to count the number of Math equations within a PDF page. Can anyone help me to identify the correct module.

Thanks,
Gopal

I have not worked with PDF related scripts but the first step would be to review the various PDF modules. Once you find a short list of possibilities, post your list for us to help narrow it down.

If you want more specific help, you'll need to post a sample PDF and your test script.

Use http://online-convert.com to convert the PDF to text and then see if Perl can scan the text file for equations. It's one of the best free all-around convertors out there I've found. And I've converted dozens of PDFs to text with it.

Dealing with PDF content, in PDF or text form, is usually a PITA though.
