Resource Kit vs Developer Kit Can't Post

I was thinking about buying the Resource Kit from Amazon/O'Reilly and noticed the Published Date: September 1998/August 1998. My question is what do I get for the $119.00 vs Oreilly ($149.00) or should I just get the developer kit for $95.00 bucks.. Is it worth the bucks, knowing I probably will have to go to Active State to get any upgrades to the Resource kit.
Thanks in adavance,

Greg
