Search for an ODP parse at cgi-resources.com, there's an excellent one there. Kind of pissed me off that it was so good .... I was going to write one. As for google. Of course you can't just find the engine they use laying around. It was written in delphi and python too. I asked them what they wrote it in thinking it was in c++. Yahoo is a c++ & python engine also, and no you can't have their's either. If you look hard enough though you'll find people who have written full parses in perl that you can have for free. ODP's data is available for download, you can go to there site and find there dump, and you can download all of there data for free. It's in RDF format, and an old RDF at that. I converted it to flat file sorted in there categories, so maybe you'd want to give that a try. I think parsing is easier though. Tony
