Where to get modules	Can't Post

I am trying to install a shopping cart (Redicart). It needs a module (vars.pm) I went to cpan and looked for the vars.pm module but the search brought up 5 modules called vars.pm. How do I know which one to install on my server? The newest? The prettiest? hmmmm

Good job looking at cpan, but it sounds like vars.pm is a module that's part of Redicart. Have you tried contacting the developer to see if you have a complete distribution of their program?

Thanks for quick reply. Yes I did look at developers page. --And the more I look at it, the more I think that perhaps this isn't the cart I am looking for. It appears as if the developers wants you to use their services in order to use the cart.

I learned 2 valuable lessons here.
1) When a script requires extra modules, they CAN be found and installed.
2) If I do get in over my head, this forum is a great place to get fast help.

vars is a module that I believe comes with Perl. Have you tried running the scripts or are you just reading the requirements?
