Look in the FAQ, I believe there is one about installing modules locally. And about using the module, you'll have to read the documentation of the module.

To use a module in your script, put the following line in your script:

use Module;

where Module is the name of the module you want included in your program (do not add the .pm suffix).

You'll need to read the module's documentation to see how to use the module's functions in your program.

I didn't exactly understnaded what you explained .

to use the moudle I should :

write in my script this:
use moudles/fribidi;

without the suffix of .pm?

or I must install the moudle somehow in my system?

becouse then I cant use the moudle couse I am hosting on virtualave.net..

1 - Download the module to your computer.
2 - Read the FAQ post about installing modules on your server without having admin access and whatnot.
3 - Place the use line in your script, without the .pm suffix.
4 - Read the module documentation that should be at the module's website and figure out its functions and how to use it in your script.

Something you don't know?

Hmmm.... that you're asking a group of Perl people about a C module?

PLLLLLLLLLLEASE keep it polite -- this is a free forum, and assistance is entirely voluntary. Demanding assistance and/or an individual's time to explore an unlinked url will likely get your question ignored.

Re: Can someone help about using in... [In reply to] Can't Post

yotam,

1) C is not Perl, and Perl is not C. To assume that a Perl person can answer a C question is to assume incorrectly.

2) C questions are off topic for this Perl forum.

3) This is not the place to demand or to whine. I did not demand that you link the url -- just that you understand it's more cumbersome to open a new browser window, and then copy and paste a url than click. It would stand to reason that you would try to make things easier for people trying to help.

4) To make a link "hot", use [ url=http://whatever.com]http://whatever.com (remove the extra space between [ and url)

In the future, it would be very useful to note that you are not asking a Perl question and to remember that nothing is due simply by posting a question. People have tried to help, and were not successful in helping you with your C question. You have received 4 separate replies to this post, all (logically) assuming that you were referring to Perl.

Perhaps a better place for this question is a C forum or newsgroup.
