It's probly easy, :)

is there a way to have a script do some thing after it's done getting all info & displaying the page - so it don't slow down the loading of the page?

It would help if the script could keep working after it's done with the guest!

Yes, just don't include an exit command after the HTML is done, and don't print out any more HTML afterwords. I'll use an example...
