Home: Need a Custom or Prewritten Perl Program?: I need a program that...: Special Newsboard!!!!

Can't Post I need a Special and "Free" Newsboard to put the main headlines of my site's news section on the site's main page(index."html"). The problem is that my ISP's web server doesn't have SSI enabled. I searched on the perl guide but I didn't find out the cgi script I need. ( well, I found but I have to pay for it and I don't have money) Please help me guys, tell me where can I find this kind of script. I heard that news can be displayed on the main page without using SSI but JAVA Script. The problem is that I just started to learn Perl and I don't know how to do it. WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD THIS KIND OF SCRIPT?!!!! Thank for your patient

Also boards like this one, where you can create a news section. Try i.e. Ikonboard (http://www.ikonboard.com). Ok. It's more a bulletin board, but maybe it helps. I use it myself. Simple to configure and just needs CGI access. Felix

(see http://design.garagedoor.org/products_news.cgi) I could modify it fairly easily so that it outputs in JS instead of straight HTML. Let me see what I can do! I don't have time right now to zip up the files and explain the changes in the setup, but I'll post a message here once I've done that. What format do you want me to zip it up in?
