get parsing error message from C++ Can't Post

I am using an embedded Perl-Interpreter in a C++-application.
In case 'perl_parse' returns 255 (false) I'm looking for a possibility to access the error message (which is actually written on the screen) from the C++.

In contrast to a failed expression evaluation, reading the $@ variable (ERRSV) does not to work in this case.

I would be grateful to anybody who can help me

Christian
