Starting another program from the existing one Can't Post

Hi All,

Please help! I am trying to call (start) another process (another *.cgi file) from my currently running program, pass this process several parameters and allow it to run on the background and forget about it although it is still running. So my script should go on without waiting for the result of the called program.

Could anyone tell me how can I do it?
Thank you all in advance!

I'm not familiar with CGIs, but in general you can use system() function
with & for executing the process in the background, like

my $Command = './';
system "$Command \&";

This should help ... on Unix-Linux
