How to install the GD.pm module local Can't Post

Hello,

I have the following problem.
I want to use the barcodewriter program to write barcodes!
I have downloaded the perl script at:
http://www.debarcode.com/barcode/

What I need for this script to run is the GD.pm module.
But it is not possible for me to install the GD.pm module. I do ot have the rights and do not have telnet access.
I hav eheard that it should be possible to install the module local. In my cgi-bin dir (for example in a sub dir called lib).

How to do that???
