Hello PGScooter, The best solution to make shareware is to make two version of your program, one limited in some way (time or capabilities, like only processing 100 lines, etc etc) and a complete version (with a serial in it so it'll help if someone spread copies), this is called crippleware. Although i didnt put my hands on it, i'm quite sure that some peoples could reverse perl2exes... so crippleware is nearly ALWAYS the best protection you can use. freddo ;--- Real Programmers are surprised when their cars'odometer don't turn from 99999 to 9999A!?
