Ok, Stupid Question Here Can't Post

I got the perldiver uploaded to my ftp in ASCII mode to my cgi bin, then made the chmod 755, now it says run it in your browser, I have it set to open in my browser, but how in gods name do you RUN it in there? I have been trying to figure this out and I am lost! PLEASE HELP! Thank you.......Heather

Ummm... just point to the perldiver.cgi in your browser?

http://yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/perldiver.cgi

Run, point to, go to the url in your browser... same thing.

Am I misunderstanding something?

Hmmm .. .maybe "open it in your browser" is more accurate than "run it in your browser".

Just point your browser to the script ... should be something like:

Code
http://www.mydomain.com/cgi-bin/perldiver.cgi

making the appropriate substitions.

In other words, you run it by opening it ... or it runs itself when you look at it ... or something like that.
